It’s the way of teen fads, really. The once virulent online activism arguing that Dzhokhar “Jahar” Tsarnaev was innocent of the Boston bombings is just whispers now, a few bedraggled Facebook pages peeling off of bedroom walls.
"For most of the #FreeJahar advocates, their interest probably didn’t survive last summer”…..
We are still here and we are not all fangirls. We are still waiting for answers to our questions; you know, the one’s regarding the “small inconsistencies” in this case. So small in fact that the ACLU is now suing the FBI for information regarding Todashev’s murder. So small that many reputable media sources are still questioning this case as well.
Of course we expected most MSM to come up with damning articles this week to insure the public still believes these “suspects” are as guilty as they say they are…but this article takes it a step further. Mocking Dzhokhar’s friends: He has lots of friends who still believe he’s innocent and fight for justice for their friend in more ways than just tweet a line. Mocking supporters: People who believe in what this country was founded on not what it has become. We believe in Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We aren’t conspiracy theorists. We only want what everyone wants, truth and justice.
For the supporters that were called out in this article by making fun of your tweets; I applaud you for standing up for what you believe in. If all you can do is tweet, blog or post something on facebook then so be it. We all do what we can, when we can, from where we are, with what we have. Every voice matters no matter what the cause is, so thank you.
Sorry but not too sorry, just needed to vent. (Not proclaiming to be or trying to be a “professional” so don’t bitch too much about my writing abilities in your next catastrophe Phil)
